Mike’s plan to leave his wife, Jane, for this woman while keeping the house disgusted Allison. She drove them back to Jane’s house, where Jane confronted them.

“That’s not what it looks like,” Mike lied, but Jane saw through him.

“Get out of my friend’s car and find your own way out of here,” Jane demanded, realizing Mike’s betrayal.

Allison’s action exposed the truth. Jane decided to end her marriage, gaining clarity and strength.

“I want you gone by the end of the day,” Jane declared. “Because of your infidelity, darling, you will get absolutely nothing from me.”

Driving away, Allison felt grateful for her role in revealing the truth. Back home, she reflected on the day’s events, planning to write about infidelity.

Jane thanked Allison, saying, “You deserve better.”

Allison’s story showed the importance of honesty and standing by friends.
