Melania Trump “leads her own life” amid White House absence

Since Inauguration Day a month ago, Melania Trump has largely stayed out of the spotlight. The First Lady traveled with her husband, President Donald Trump, to Los Angeles during the devastating wildfires—where she was praised for her way of treating with the victims—but besides that, she has barely been seen. Many have wondered where exactly Melania is, and that’s become a recurring theme in and of itself over the last few years.Image 1

Melania has gone on record to state that her second tenure at the White House will be different. The First Lady won’t be living at the White House full-time, for example, and now a new source has come forward to explain what her life is really like. To put it bluntly, it seems as though she doesn’t have that much time for politics.Image 2

When Donald Trump won the 2024 Presidential Election, Melania clarified her stance regarding her impending second term at the White House. In the last few years, she has pretty much stayed out of the spotlight, instead focusing on helping and supporting her and Donald’s son, Barron.

Barron, remember, has moved back to his home city, New York, and started his studies at Stern Business School at New York University. Although Melania has said she will take on many duties in her capacity as First Lady, she won’t live in Washington full-time.

“I will be in the White House. And you know when I need to be in New York, I will be in New York. When I need to be in Palm Beach, I will be in Palm Beach. But my first priority is, you know, to be a mom, to be a first lady, to be a wife. And once we are in on January 20, you serve the country,” Melania told Fox News.

Melania was with her husband on Election Day and at his side on Inauguration Day. However, besides that, the First Lady of the United States has barely been seen.

Melania has become a true American since she arrived in the US in the 1990s, but she has not let go of her Slovenian heritage. Donald and Melania traveled to Los Angeles last month, where they met with Governor Gavin Newsom to discuss rebuilding the many areas destroyed by the wildfires.
